I know that someone has asked this question within the last year on this forum, but I don't believe there was ever a satisfying answer.

Why has Dave Hartley seemingly disappeared? I am sure that most all of you know what a beautiful steel player he is.

You would change your attitude if you could meet him and talk with David, but that's your opinion and you can raely change one's opinion.

        1. Sarah Jory and David Hartley are both 'class acts' they have reached a level of commercial respect that few other UK steel players ever have.
        2. Anybody know how he tunes his guitar?
        3. Orange Blossom Special · Highway 40 Blues · Just Between You and Me · Buckaroo & Loves Gonna Live Here · Stealin' Corn · Wichita Linemen.
        4. The War on Drugs is an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in The band consists of Adam Granduciel (vocals, guitar), David Hartley.
        5. When I first began taking up the steel he was one of the first players I came across on YouTube. He has influenced me tremendously. He plays with such heart and soul but never at the expense of exactness in intonation and rhythm.

He was always trying out and demonstrating new gear. I hope that he is OK.

Thank you in advance, and I sincerely hope that I am not asking something that is redundant, something that has already been covered.
